Pine Cliffs is a resort of around 72 hectares on the red cliffs of Albufeira, in the Algarve, looking down on Praia da Falésia, one of the most famous beaches in Portugal.

Ceremonies are often held on the Sunset Deck at the edge of the cliff, or in the more secluded Pine Tree Garden, with drinks at the Mirador Champagne Bar and indoor options if the weather turns.

Filming a wedding at Pine Cliffs

The contrast of red rock, green pines and blue ocean is unique to this part of the coast. We film the ceremony on the cliff edge with the beach far below, and take the couple down to the sand or along the cliff paths for portraits.

Sunset on the deck is the moment of the day here. We plan the timeline with your planner so the vows or the first toast land exactly in that light.

Planning your wedding film at Pine Cliffs

The resort sits on cliffs above Praia da Falésia, and the Sunset Deck is the key moment of the day. The contrast of red rock, green pines and blue sea is the look of the film. In the Algarve the sun sets at about 9 pm in June and July, about 8 pm in early September and about 7 pm in early October, so we plan the timeline backwards from sunset.

Getting there: Pine Cliffs is about 30 km from Faro airport, about 30 to 35 minutes by car without traffic.
